I bought a few rings from Fiona Knapp - a fact I now deeply regret. They were bespoke pieces made for a special occasion. Not only were they delayed by months, but when I did finally receive them, I endured endless problems due to the very poor craftsmanship. You think that everything is made either by Fiona or her colleague Laura but in actual fact it is done by someone in Hatton Gardens. (I wish I had gone there originally now, as I probably would have received a better product for half the price). They measured me incorrectly, diamonds fell out of one ring and became loose in another. A large saphire in one ring was chipped during the setting process but they still had the audacity (and two times no less!) to say the ring was finished and ask me to collect it.
They are not members of any jewellery or craftsmanship body, so there is nobody you can complain to. I found Fiona an aggressive and unfriendly woman. If you are going to be paying their prices for a piece of jewellery I would recommend going somewhere reputable.
