Saco reviews
I have been having my hair cut by Saron at Saco for a long time now. I simply love it. The environment is great. I am conscious that it is a very difficult haircut (halo/bob) and it has always been perfect. In fact, when Saron was on holidays I tried another salon, under a friend's recommendation, where the stylist was meant to be a specialist in this kind of haircut but it was simply not the same. The good thing about Saron is that she is prepared to listen to me and together we have sort of developed a style that I love.

I followed Mark to Saco because he is by far the best stylist in London and fortunately he introduced me to the best colourist, Jamie. I have always put my complete trust in them and always been extremely happy with the results. I would highly recommend a visit to Saco - it really is something special.

I have been a client of Ane for 4 years now and I will not go anywhere else! She always gets both colour and cut right and she is brilliant at coming up with new ideas too. Saco is chic but with a relaxed atmosphere. I recommend everyone to go there.

I go to Saron at Saco for my haircut every 4 to 6 weeks and just love it! She is a very skilled professional, always cheerful, kind and concerned, and advises me how best to treat my hair. Highly recommended!

It's good... on first impressions! I was attending a course where I was having my hair cut and coloured. The guy running the show was somewhere else, and I felt so sorry for the people on the course as they were left standing around like headless chickens while he kept disappearing for 30 mins at a time. If you attend one of these courses beware that you will be hanging around for 4hrs plus. If it wasn't for my stylist I would not have had a drink or the level of care deserving of a member of the public. Give a miss!

I see Leila every six weeks for a cut and colour. She is lovely, and very skilled at what she does. I feel I can discuss what I would like with her and receive honest and professional advice. I always end up with beautiful hair when I visit the salon. Highly recommended!

Until recently I went to a well known brand name, also in Covent Garden. My hairdresser left and a friend recommended SACO. I went to Mark who was extremely professional. As a guy, I prefer to have another guy cut my hair and I have to say he has given me one of the 5 best cuts I've had in my life. He was very friendly, told me a lot about his past life in hairdressing, as well as on the music scene in the 80s in Manchester, not the usual salon conversation. What a lovely guy! The salon itself is very stylish, a shame that it wasn't busier. All the staff were great and polite. I am booked in again with Mark next month and hope to make it my regular place. His price was reasonable too, pretty much what I was paying before. Very happy with my change.

I went to Saco for the first time. My appointment was with Leila and she discussed what style would work with my hair. She took me through my haircut and the results were absolutely amazing. I will certainly go to her again for my next appointment in eight weeks.

I went to Saco after reading all the reviews here, and was not disappointed. My appointment was with Leila. She was fantastic at suggesting the cut and the colour, and I'm very happy with the results - she's brilliant. Finally I found a great hairdresser who actually does what was agreed on. Will be going back very soon!

After many years stuck in a Tony & Guy rut, I decided it was time to sample what other hair stylists had to offer. The idea is to be ruthless and go to avoid going back to the same place twice until someone raises the bar to exceptional. After many months sampling the market, I think Saco is the most professional, and will definitely be going back in a month or so!

Great place, amazing cut/colour but far far too pricey... keeps me from coming again unfortunately as no way can I justify spending nearly £200.

I have been going to Saco now for the past year and have found the salon to be very professional with a modern and relaxed atmosphere. Jamie is my colourist and he is by far the best I have found.
He has an excellent understanding of what the client wants and the technical skills to match.
His technique, as well as his ability to understand what I want, are what keep me going back to him for fabulous colour. I highly recommend him!

I changed salons when Jamie moved to Saco. He is quite simply the best colourist I have ever had. He has managed to understand the exact shade of brunette I wanted, where everyone else failed. I now have my hair cut by Ana and she is fantastic too.

I discovered Saco by accident when looking for a salon to rescue my disasterous cut and colour from another salon not a million miles away in Covent Garden. Leila is a complete gem, very professional and both a talented cutter and colourist. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.
However, I agree they need to step up a bit with the refreshments. Mind you, bad coffee vs a bad hair cut is really a no-brainer!

You'd be hard pressed to find a stylist who passionately concentrates more on her craft than Leila. Been getting my hair cut with her a lot longer than Saco has been around and she never fails to give me an A-class cut. Good stuff!

Saco is a fabulous, stylish salon. They make you feel relaxed and you immediately know you're in good hands. My colour was amazing and just what I wanted. I'm definitely going back again.

I visited on the 20% discount offer from urbanpath.
Good points: the salon is very stylish, clean and well thought out in terms of layout, space and design. Both my colour and cut were super - much care and attention was given, they listened to what I wanted, were friendly and the end result was brilliant.
Bad points: when staying for 3 hours I expect to be offered a good choice of refreshments. I asked for a latte but was told their coffee machine was no more. Instead I got a horrible lukewarm filter cofffee. If a customer asks for something you can't offer, with a coffee shop on the doorstep I would expect you to offer to get it! The only other element that would prevent me returning: the price. Even with the hefty discount, my cut and colour came to £155. This is just ridiculous! I loved my visit, but without a discount this is far, far too expensive. With hardly any other customers there, I think Saco would do well to seriously review their price list.

Ane is amazing for both cut and colour. She also makes you feel so happy and relaxed. Worth every penny. Every time I go somewhere cheaper I regret it and always end up coming back to her. Very highly recommended.

Just back with an amazing haircut and colour once again. A great experience every visit. The team are always friendly, and truly talented. An absolute gem of a salon, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Always a good experience when I come here. Smart, friendly and, most of all, good at what they do! Leila's a star - she always takes your ideas and works them into a manageable and great cut. Highly recommended.
