OMG. If you don't want to pay £120 for a shampoo, cut and blow dry ask for Damon. I only pay £70 for a shampoo, cut and blow dry. He had just come back from USA road show with John Frieda and does a great cut - such a perfectionist. I live in rural France so I don't get over often enough, but it always lasts 3 months plus.

Good haircut, with a real sense of style - even my husband noticed the difference! Very expensive though: £120 for a shampoo, cut and blow dry. Was the cut worth the money? Not sure...

I visited John Frieda recently and just wanted to say how much I loved it there. The whole experience, from the gorgeous girls on the desk to the amazingly helpful juniors right through to the talented stylist who did my hair, was wonderful. They all went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and special. In doing that, they've got themselves a loyal client for life. I highly recommend John Frieda.

I've been going to John Frieda for about 8 years and have had a consistently good experience. The staff are very friendly and excellent at what they do. The way it differs to other salons is in how long the style stays after each cut. I find I can get away with longer gaps between visits and still look OK. I would recommend it highly.

I visited them to get a haircut, blow dry and some highlights for my birthday in September and it was fantastic. Very nice atmosphere at the salon. I wasn't sure if they could manage afro hair that had been relaxed (straightened) previously but the end result looked fab. Would recommend. Most of my birthday party guests asked where I got my hair done!

Service here is slow. My stylist was average and didn't really give me what I asked for.

I had my first visit last week. I gave my stylist absolute freedom to do what he wanted. He was great.
I have a fantastic hair style and cut that suits my face, my lifestyle and my hair type. It was about £70, but worth every penny Also, this place gives excellent customer service. From my first phone call to leaving the salon, they know how to make you feel relaxed and welcome. This is my new salon.

I had a relaxer treatment here which didn't even relax the curls, let alone straighten. As i was warned that my hair was never going to be poker straight before, when I protested that the £100 treatment hadn't done much, the stylist-who had the worst hairstyle I have seen on a stylist, claimed she had told me it wouldn't do anything. Local stylist would have done a better job!

Went in for a haircut a couple of months ago. Had a junior stylist. The whole place was nice enough, but no special treatment or even a glass of water offered. The haircut is certainly not the best I've ever had and it hasn't grown too nicely. I will not go back.

I thought the service was amazing. The receptionists were very helpful and very friendly. I will be returning.

The hair stylist was a lovely girl but unfortunately the cut was pretty average for the price. On a second occasion, I called the salon for some information on hair colour and the receptionist was really unhelpful and rather rude.
